At birth it is only the best thing to do to definitely identify a child with it's parents. The on going problem of children being switched at birth is tragic. So a photo is automatically taken.

Naturally the way things are done change. We all our different famillies use to save photographs. That is before the digital age. I've so far taken 4,000 pictures, in the last 2 years. It cost me the price of my camera, and the use of my computer.

Eventually the camera will record the image and my identity based on stored information, but when and where the picture was taken, (probably using a system like sat.nav).

Stored information for convenience sake will continually update itself. Where in the past society was responsible to maintain a proper identification file, we will now be able to do it ourselves. If info is continually updated using different computer inhansements, nobody could develop a fake ID. Seeing as how the identification has eveolve since birth.
